The use of CCTV to detect crime and enhance public safety has proven successful in many applications and has received overwhelming public support. They have become essential in areas where the security and safety of staff, customers and assets is a concern.
Remote Site Management System
Whilst CCTV systems are an effective crime deterrent, there is still a requirement to minimise the effects of any potential threats through immediate action. A remote monitored CCTV and site management system can not only detect an activation but our trained operators can act accordingly to the information received.
The Benefits of Remote Monitored CCTV
- Cost effective compared to traditional security methods eg, manned guarding
- Discreet yet can observe every area of the premises
- Sites can be monitored 24 hours a day 365 days of the year
- Ability to interact respond and control all levels of access to site, eg deliveries, staff, customer enquiries
- Management of remote unmanned locations reducing the need for costly or hazardous site visits
- Highly skilled, trained and dedicated analysts responding to activations, reducing the number of false Police call outs
- Can provide Visual Alarm Confirmation for Police response purposes
Dedicated Monitoring Centre
Static Security's dedicated CCTV remote monitoring centre, can respond to system activations 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. As the County's leading security company, Static Security utilises all the latest technology to secure your business. Image transmission equipment, ISDN telephone lines and high speed networks are used to transmit the images from your CCTV cameras on your site to provide you with a totally dedicated remote site management system.
Specialist Operators
The monitoring of CCTV footage is fundamentally different to other alarm activations, we have specially trained CCTV operators to determine how the images presented should be responded to. The system not only has the facility to view more than one incident at a time, but our experienced operators can pan, tilt and zoom cameras and take control of any situation that may arise. We also operate peripheral devices such as two way audio facilities.
Monitoring - a fast response service
State of the art detection and camera systems are strategically located around the site. Within seconds of system activation by an intruder, a camera will focus automatically on the cause. Simultaneously the system will translate real-time images from the camera to the CCTV remote monitoring centre.
At our CCTV Remote Monitoring Centre our experienced operators have complete control over the system, to identify whether it is a customer, staff, deliveries or a criminal attack. The operator will make a quick and accurate assessment of the situation and take the appropriate action.
The system also has full audio facilities; this enables our operators to give warnings to potential attackers or assistance to staff, customers and other visitors to the site. An intercom link can also be provided for authorised enquiries.
System Solutions to meet your needs
Static Security provides a wide variety of solutions which can be tailored to suit individual requirements. Our engineers will ensure your monitored CCTV system is installed to the highest standards to provide maximum security in the most efficient way possible. The latest technology is used for monitored CCTV and is highly recommended for its reliability in the market place.
Case Studies
Car Dealership
A proposal was put forward for 55 Remote Management and Security systems which included a comprehensive CCTV system to view the site during the day.
At night time the system was switched to active and every incident was then managed at the CCTV Remote Monitoring Centre as opposed to a manned guard on site. Not only was the service at night greatly enhanced but the cost savings were immense.
Retail Outlet
The owner of a chain of Off-Licences found that over a six month period high levels of stock were being lost. A Remote Management system was installed, comprising of cameras linked to panic buttons. This helped combat shoplifting during the day and provided staff with peace of mind. If the staff had any incidents during the day they pushed the panic button, activating the cameras and allowing our analysts to view and listen to the shop. The analysts were then able to make a decision and take the best action. The system also conformed to the new ACPO 2000 policy as alarms form the shops can be visually confirmed.
Builders Merchant
A small open builders yard in Essex was forced into employing a Manned Guard because of consistent vandalism and theft problems. The building yard at that particular time was making low profits and the employment of a guard caused the business to run below break even point and was therefore beginning to trade at a loss.
